Leadership Development Programs

 

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) – 2017

We were approached by L&T to conduct a program aimed at ‘Developing Business Capabilities’ for their Cluster Heads located all across the globe.  The technical and behavioral competencies that were planned to be developed were:

The Program was executed over a period of 4 days (2 batches) and 5 days (2 batches).  The pedagogy was a mix of role plays, case studies and lecture sessions.

The Programs were very well received and we expect to train many more batches.

 

BUILDING MANAGERIAL COMPETENCIES

We were appointed by Escorts India Ltd. to develop the curriculum and train the entire managerial personnel in the sales and service functions including:

  • Territory Business Managers
  • Area Managers
  • Regional Managers

The training programs were also conducted for the dealers of Escorts to improve their understanding of business and returns on their investment.

The Training Programs were managed and conducted by us for a period of 3 years, after which we trained their executives to conduct the Programs.

 

MEL Systems & Services.

We were approached by the MD of MELSS, a medium sized company engaged in manufacturing and trading of equipment for the defense sector.  The MD wanted his top level managers to be given inputs on managerial decision-making.

The training was conducted over a period of 12 months with classes being scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays.  Candidates were given functional inputs in Finance, Decision-making, People skills and Marketing.

 

BUILDING BUSINESS ACUMEN

We conducted a 5-day Workshop for Real Image Media Technologies aimed at improving the financial, business and analytical capabilities of the middle-management team.  The participants were located in Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi and the sessions were conducted through video conferencing.

As part of the Workshop, we also conducted an MS-Excel familiarity session to make the participants comfortable in using Excel for their analysis.

 

FINANCE FOR THE NON-FINANCE MANAGER

We have conducted this Program for several organizations with the objective of making professionals from the non-finance stream (HR, Marketing, Operations and sometimes Accounts) become familiar with and appreciate the nuances of finance.  They are taught to evaluate the impact of their decisions on the finances of the Firm.

All of the above Programs have been scheduled as Open Programs.  They can also be conducted specifically for companies if a batch size of 15 participants is identified.  CBS can also conduct customized Programs as per the needs of the companies, if required CBS team headed by Dean can design the program structure in consultation with company.
